3. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

We have not added advertising or analytics tracking tools such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics to our website.

  • Hosting cookies: we have observed that the platform hosting our website sets two first-party cookies: "__emg_vid" (a visitor identifier, lasting up to one year) and "__emg_sid" (a session identifier, lasting up to 30 minutes). These cookies are set by our hosting provider, not by GNONS, and their exact purpose has not been confirmed to us. We will update this policy when it is confirmed.
  • Content delivery and security: our website is delivered through a content delivery and security network, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the website against attacks.
  • Session storage: your browser temporarily stores a small setting to remember whether our enquiry pop-up has already been shown during your visit. This setting stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
  • Staff login: the administration area used by authorised GNONS staff uses strictly necessary cookies to keep staff securely signed in. These cookies are not set for ordinary website visitors.
  • Google Fonts: our website loads fonts from Google's servers, which means your browser's IP address is shared with Google when the fonts are loaded.
  • Google Maps: our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map. Google may set cookies or collect information when the map loads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

If we add analytics, advertising or similar tracking tools in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Responding to and managing your enquiries
  • Preparing and sharing quotations, estimates and project proposals
  • Providing customer support and project-related communication
  • Following up on enquiries, consultations and ongoing projects
  • Maintaining records of our communication with you
  • Understanding which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries, so we can improve our website and services
  • Protecting our website and systems against spam, fraud and misuse
  • Complying with legal obligations

5. Enquiry Follow-ups and Marketing Communications

When you submit an enquiry or contact us, we use the contact details you provide to communicate with you about that enquiry, including follow-up calls and messages by phone, WhatsApp or email.

We may send updates or promotional messages about our services. Where applicable law requires your consent for such messages, we will send them only with that consent.

To stop follow-ups or promotional messages, you can:

  • Replying to our WhatsApp message asking us to stop
  • Telling our team during a call
  • Emailing info@gnons.in

Your request is handled by our team manually. Once it is processed, we will stop sending you such communications, except messages that are necessary for an ongoing project or required by law.

6. WhatsApp and Meta

You can contact us on WhatsApp through the links on our website. These open a chat with our business number in the WhatsApp app, and your messages are processed by WhatsApp in accordance with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal).

We are in the process of implementing the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Once it is in use, messages, files, your WhatsApp profile name and mobile number exchanged with our business number will be processed by Meta's infrastructure so they can be delivered, and will be received into our CRM so our team can respond and keep a record of the conversation. Messages we initiate through the platform will be sent in accordance with WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies.

7. CRM and Lead Management

Enquiries submitted on our website are stored in our website database and automatically transferred to our CRM system. If you contact us more than once using the same mobile number, the new enquiry is added to your existing record instead of creating a duplicate.

Our CRM is used by authorised GNONS staff to manage enquiries, assign them to team members, record communication, prepare quotations and follow up with customers. Access is limited to personnel who require it to perform their work.

8. Phone Calls, Call Logs and AI-Assisted Calling

Our CRM keeps call logs for calls with customers, such as phone number, date, time, duration and call outcome, together with notes made by our team.

We use OmniDimension, an AI-assisted calling service, for some calls, for example to respond to or follow up on enquiries. When an AI-assisted call is made, your voice, responses and phone number are processed by OmniDimension on our behalf, and a recording, transcript or summary of the call may be created and stored in our systems.

Not every call is recorded. Recordings are kept only for calls that are actually recorded. Where a call is recorded, or where you are speaking with an AI assistant, you should be informed of this at the start of the call. If you do not want a call recorded, or prefer to speak with a member of our team, you can say so during the call or email info@gnons.in.

Recordings, transcripts and call logs are used for responding to your enquiry, customer service, quality review and record-keeping.

9. Service Providers and Sharing

We share personal information only where necessary to operate our business and provide our services. Depending on the service, this may include the following categories of providers, who process information on our behalf:

  • Website hosting, content delivery and website security providers
  • CRM software and its hosting
  • Cloud storage providers used for website images and files
  • Google Workspace, for our business email (info@gnons.in)
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. for WhatsApp communication
  • OmniDimension, for AI-assisted calling, and other telephony providers used for calls

Where it is necessary for your project and you have asked us to proceed, we may share relevant project details (such as site details and requirements) with professionals working on that project, such as consultants or contractors. We may also disclose information to government or law enforcement authorities where required by law or legal process.

10. Applicable Law

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry and for the other purposes described in this policy. You can ask us at any time to stop using your information for follow-ups or promotional messages, as described above.

Our handling of personal information is subject to the applicable laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. We will review and update this policy as these provisions take effect.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to your enquiry, delivering and supporting your project, maintaining business records, and complying with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.

When information is no longer required, or when you ask us to delete it, we will delete it or remove identifying details within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep it:
