The Urban Frame Residence
Project Overview
The Urban Frame Residence presents a thoughtfully composed G+1 residential elevation on a 22 × 41 ft plot. The exterior incorporates generous outdoor balconies, carefully positioned windows, and a visually prominent corner-facing architectural composition. A sheltered entrance, decorative façade screens, and integrated planter spaces enrich the building's appearance. Contrasting surface finishes distinguish different sections of the structure, while recessed illumination accentuates architectural edges and enhances the evening presentation.
Design Concept
**Framed Volumes & Layered Contemporary Architecture** The design explores the interplay between solid masses, open voids, and projecting horizontal planes to establish a dynamic three-dimensional façade. A restrained material palette allows each architectural element to express its individual character without overwhelming the overall composition. Geometric screening introduces patterned detail, while transparent boundaries maintain a sense of openness. The approach prioritizes visual proportion, façade depth, and a cohesive relationship between private living spaces and outdoor extensions, resulting in an expressive yet balanced architectural statement.
